FREE your FEELS Social Emotional Website

Free Your Feels is a mental health awareness campaign encouraging Georgia's young people to explore their real feelings and share them fearlessly. Our goal is to empower youth to speak out and express their real feelings, encourage adults and peers to check-in with each other and listen judgment-free, and to connect everyone to resources for further guidance or help.

With free educational resources, instant access to mental health professionals, and support for kids and families, we’re helping Georgia’s youth voice their real feels and get the help they need when they need it.

Black History Month Program Information

The students at home and those present here at J.L. Lomax have worked diligently to prepare for this performance. Our theme for this year is “Never Forget…Keeping the Dream Alive.” Each grade level has a small presentation that helps paint a picture of this year’s theme with skits, poems, dance, and
much more. Our 3 choruses will be performing the following: “We Shall Overcome,” “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright,” and “Glory.”

We will provide more details about the link once our video is ready to
view on Friday, February 26, 2021.
